My Approach
I offer a warm, direct, and trauma informed approach to counseling. My style integrates psychodynamic therapy with somatic practices. I practice from a belief that we all deserve compassion and the chance to grow, heal, and change. It is my intention to listen deeply and attune to your unique needs. I aim to create an environment where we can work toward growth that is in alignment with your values. We can explore what gives meaning to your life and learn how counseling can be helpful to you.

Authenticity is a core principle of mine and I invite you to be your authentic self in our work together. The therapeutic relationship between us is vital, and I will work to create a warm, collaborative space. We can focus on healing attachment wounds, regulating your nervous system, and expanding your relational awareness. I would love to help you find more ease, joy, and acceptance.
I am influenced by Existential-Humanistic theories, Psychodynamic approaches, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and mind/body integration practices. With those ideas in mind, my primary objective is to help you build self-awareness — because I believe YOU are the only expert on your life.

My graduate and post-graduate studies focused on addiction, and I have experience working in Residential Substance Use Disorder treatment.
